Our Safety Guidelines and Requirements
-
Safety of the hunters and dogs is our primary concern.
-
A blaze orange hat is required and other blaze orange clothing is highly recommended.
-
You must check in at the clubhouse Before and After hunting so we can keep records for our preserve hunting permit.
-
You must confine your hunt to your assigned hunting area for safety reasons. NO EXEPTIONS!
-
Dogs Must be kenneled or leashed until you reach your hunting area.
-
Shotgun shells must be purchased at our facility. We require steel shot with shell size to be restricted to 2 3/4 inch and shot size no larger than # 2 steel. We have both 12 gauge and 20 gauge shells for purchase. If you are using a different gauge shotgun you must use steel shot and shotgun shells must be approved by Coulee Region Game Bird Staff.
-
All hunters must follow the laws of the State of Wisconsin that govern hunting on a hunting preserve. A Hunter Safety Certificate is required for minors unless the hunt is mentored and approved by Coulee Region Game Bird Staff.
